Halloween (1978) review

I met this.. six-year-old child with this blank, pale, emotionless face, and... the blackest eyes - the Devil's eyes. It is purely and simple…. Evil.  This movie is my favorite horror movie plain and simple. The shape is terrifying and very simple in its concept. This movie was low budget at around 300,000 and it made about 7 million at the box office. This movie is simple with the shapes design and the tension and the fact that there is not a lot of gore John Carpenter didn’t need to put gore and over the top kills in the movie to scary you. This movie set the example for all other slashers that came after it. This movie is a masterpiece and is the greatest horror movie ever in my opinion. One of the reasons why this movie is so scary is because you don’t know why he’s killing babysitters the fear of the unknown is really terrifying. This movie is mysterious and eerie and all around amazing. I’m going to give this movie a rare for me a 10/10.
